L. Franklin, Sr. was born and raised in Pensacola Florida.
John Sr. and Dolores, his wife of 48 years, have owned and
operated WPAN Television
for the past 21 years, longer than any other station owners
in the market. For the past 16 years, WPAN
Television has been operated as a commercial broadcast station.
John Sr. and Dolores have two grown children - Janna and
John Jr. They recently formed a partnership with both children
and their spouses.
John Sr. has extensive experience in finance, real estate
development, management, marketing and sales. In addition
to owning WPAN, John Sr.
has also served as an ordained minister for 49 years. His
devotion to the local broadcast industry along with his welcoming
personality make him a pleasure to do business with. His wisdom
and experience bring strength and stability to WPAN
